We ended Read Across America Week by having the "A Team" or as they call themselves "Seasoned with Age" come in and spend time reading to all of our elementary students. Walking thru the halls, you could hear the laughter coming from the classrooms as the A Team had the kids rolling with their silly voices and animated stories.
Thank you to Carol Johnson, Sherry Opbroek, Kathy Petersen, Peg Glover, Linda Purvis and Gaile Sachtjen for sharing their time and cookies with us on Thursday.
We hope you've enjoyed seeing all the fun the students had celebrating reading this week.
Just 20 minutes of reading a day exposes a child to nearly 2 MILLION words each year.
Keep reading Cougars! You have a bright future ahead of you!💙💙💙

Mrs. Seeger's 4th grade class took a little trip to the high school on Thursday. Our 4th grade class has been writing stories and Mrs. Franks debate class was kind enough to listen to the the kids read their stories and offer some advice.
Thanks to Mrs. Frank and her awesome students for helping out our little.
