🔥 “Order in the Court!” 🔥
Our sophomores wrapped up their reading of Lord of the Flies with an unforgettable Mock Trial experience! After a week of intense preparation — crafting witness statements, conducting interviews, and building their opening and closing arguments — students stepped into the roles of attorneys, witnesses, and jurors to answer one big question:
⚖️ Is Jack Merridew guilty of Involuntary Manslaughter or 1st Degree Murder in the deaths of Piggy and Simon?
The courtroom was charged with energy as students presented their evidence, challenged testimonies, and debated the meaning of justice on the island. A powerful way to bring literature — and moral questions — to life! 🌴📚💥

To our seniors, thank you. You’ve led with passion, perseverance, and love for the game.
Though the road to State ends here, the memories, lessons, and bonds built this season will last far beyond the court. Hold your heads high!! We are Cougar Proud!! 💙🐾
