💙🐾 The last couple of weeks for Principal’s Principles have been all about team building and sportsmanship! Mr. Hosford led some fun and engaging activities that encouraged cooperation, communication, and Cougar Pride.

A huge shoutout to our 4th, 5th, and 8th grade classes for being incredible role models for our younger Cougars! 🏅👏

📚✨ Our juniors and seniors had a great day attending the Career Fair in Mitchell! It was an awesome opportunity to explore future careers and connect with professionals. 👏🎓

Lots of window shopping and wish lists filled out today at the Preview Day for the book fair.

Book fair is open!!! Our elementary teachers filled out their wish lists for their classrooms. It would be amazing if we could gift our teachers a book or two this week!

🎳 Today elementary kids were able to spend time learning about Newton's First Law of Motion. 🏓

This Friday, kids will need to channel their inner Isaac Newton as we learn more about Newton's 3 Laws of Motion. If your elementary student will be attending the October 3rd Cougar Day, please notify their classroom teacher through Dojo or call the office at 605-775-2644.

🎨✨ This week in Principal's Principles, our students celebrated International Dot Day!

What is Dot Day, you ask? It’s a day to celebrate creativity, courage, and self-expression! Our students explored the inspiring story The Dot, discovering how a simple mark can grow into something amazing when we are brave and try new things.

They brainstormed ways to overcome challenges, reflected on how it feels to step out of their comfort zones, and celebrated the power of believing in themselves.

Dot Day is also a time to celebrate our teachers, who encourage students every day to take risks, try new ideas, and express themselves. A little dot can make a BIG impact—thanks to the guidance of our amazing educators! 💫
