Good afternoon families. Dues to the cold temperatures forecasted on Tuesday, the Burke School District will have a 2 hour late start on Tuesday, February 18th. Busses will run accordingly and no breakfast will be served.

After tonight's game, the energy in the gym doesn’t fade—it simply shifts. As the final buzzer echoes and the varsity team heads off the court, younger players rush in, dribbling with determination, their laughter mixing with the hum of lingering conversations. The scoreboard may be off, but the passion for the game is still alive, bouncing with every pass, every shot, and every cheer that fills the gym long after the game has ended. 💙🏀#CougarProud

Congratulation to our January student of the month winners!
Here are the areas they have to demonstrate and/or show improvement in!
Positive Attitude- towards their peers, teachers, subs, and within the classroom
Respect- Do they have good manners; show respect to everyone they are around? Do they follow classroom expectations?
Responsible- Are they accountable for their actions? Do they complete assignments? Do they communicate with the teacher? Can their peers? Can staff count on them to follow through?
Participation- Do they want to learn? Do they join in on classroom discussions, classroom project and/or mini groups?
Leadership- Do they demonstrate qualities of a good leader - helpful towards peers, takes first step, communicates well with those around them, builds up those around them.
Improvement- This is the student that has struggled- has worked hard to improve in their personal growth, has improved their academic growth.
